Saving the Lives of Dogs and Cats on Nevis

As of August 1, 2024, new laws now prohibit puppies under 6 months from entering America from any country. In a proactive response, we urgently need to spay and neuter our dog population before the problems outweigh the preventive solution.

As the ONLY small animal clinic on Nevis, your donation helps us cover basic surgical costs associated with spaying and neutering the dogs and cats that come into our care. The estimated cost per surgery is between $28-$55 per pet ($75-$150EC locally), but wait, there's MORE...!

ALL dogs and cats additionally receive:

* Health Check
* Take home pain meds
* One-month supply of flea and tick meds
* Dewormer

With approximately 100 new patients being seen in our clinic monthly, no amount is too small to help support our needs.
One male and one female dog and their offspring can produce:

* 1 year- 16
* 2 years 128
* 3 years 512
* 4 years 2048
* 5 years 12,288
* 6 years 67,000
**SPCA data

* This is only calculated at 6 puppies per litter, twice per year when the dog is in season.

As a small island, we have limited ability to support tens of thousands of homeless animals, but with your help, we can change the narrative of animal welfare for an entire country and save the lives of countless dogs and cats.

Mission: No dog or cat, homed or stray, will go without necessary medical care!

With sincere gratitude,

Janice Jensen, Founder and Exec. Director and the Nevis Animal Speak Team!
